Here is the next year of a unique running event – KOŠICE RUNWAY RUN 2025 – evening run directly on the Košice airport runway. Registration has started, log online today - the number of runners is limited, given the specificity of the event!

On the Saturday (April 27),the metropolis of the east opened the spring running season. Košice Airport has changed into a sports field. Despite the rain that came exactly with the start of the run, the runners enjoyed the unconventional track and rushed to the finish with a smile on their lips. "It was a year we will not forget and it is awesome, it is raining, but we are happy," the wet runners concluded at the finish.
Running along the runway of Košice Airport is the only one of its kind within Slovakia, the organizers are always ready for all possible scenarios, as the weather can be surprising, especially in April. Overall, more than 1,800 runners registered for the run, 1598 were at the end ready for the start..
COME AND RUN KOŠICE RUNWAY RUN WITH US THIS UPCOMING SATURDAY

Almost 1700 runners have already signed up a few days before the start and this number is still increasing. Same as in previous years, also in the fourth year runners can choose between 5km or 10km long track.
All registered runners who will reach the finish line will receive an original medal which is different for each year. Likewise, everybody will collect a running t-shirt - also in a new design and registration package for 2019 – containing a TRIPEX voucher of €35 for air services and more surprises.
FLIGHT VOUCHERS IN VALUE OF 35 EUROS

Magnificent start of the spring running season is happening in the East of Slovakia. During fourth year Košice Runway Run reports more than a 1300 registrations while there is less than two weeks until the run.
Every registered runner receives a TRIPEX voucher worth 35 EUROS for any online tickets departing from Kosice to any destination in the world via www.tripex.sk.
Košice is the only city in Slovakia where the night runners can run on the airport runway thanks to Radio Košice. If you want an unconventional, but also a good track, sign up today, the number of runners is limited.
